Dancing-Tree Consulting offers a range of services that support people in exploring and realizing potential. To get a sense of how Staci might be of service to you or your organization, check out examples of how she works and the benefits that her clients have experienced.

Life

The following fictional stories illustrate some reasons people choose individual and group facilitation with Staci. For help with deciding where you might begin, contact Staci.

Deborah

Challenge: Deborah feels stuck--she's unhappy at work and in her current relationship but doesn't know how to move forward. She's tried different healing work including psychotherapy and meditation but nothing has clicked. Though she loves drawing and long walks in nature, Deborah doesn't necessarily consider herself "spiritual". Lately, it seems like one hard thing after another keeps happening. Deborah feels like someone or something is trying to send her a message, but she can't see how the pieces fit together.

Opportunity: Feeling "stuck" is often a precursor of a need for transition. Sometimes transition means shifting an internal pattern and sometimes making external changes through work or relationships are necessary. By combining personal process with guided visualization and energy work, individual sessions become focused opportunities to excavate and release blocks in order to explore potential and actualize authentic transformation.

Jake

Challenge: Sometimes during interpersonal interactions, Jake's stomach clenches, his hands tingle and his leg begins twitching for no apparent reason. Jake's friend told him that he needs to learn about energy and so he bought a couple of books, but just can't seem to plow through them. Jake sees a psychotherapist he trusts and doesn't want to stop therapy. Jake is feeling overwhelmed by all these strange experiences.

Opportunity: Knowing how to respond when energy begins to "talk" through body sensations can be confusing. By normalizing the experience of energy, clients become active participants in recognizing how energy is already helping them grow. Staci offers care that complements psychotherapy and provides a place to practice working with energy. As clients experience guided visualization, breathwork and/or freestyle body-movement, often feelings and imagery rise to the surface that relates energy to increased body awareness. Over time, clients can identify their own unique tools -- from the practical to the mystical -- to find more balance in the context of daily life.

Leah

Challenge: Leah is a school teacher who meditates daily and has spent years studying spirituality. She often finds herself in leadership roles at school and in her intentional community. Just last week, three people told her how much they value her individual support. Lately, Leah's been feeling more sensitive. She's fine until she enters a room or stands next to someone but then Leah feels a sudden rush of intense emotion that seems to appear out of nowhere. Leah is also noticing many situations where she feels unsafe with how others approach group leadership.

Opportunity: It's natural for people who cultivate awareness to become more sensitive to internal and external stimuli.  Group participation helps people learn how to create sacred space while sifting through energy to identify individual, group and collective perspectives. Staci also mentors individuals in developing intentional sacred space through group facilitation.

Jane

Challenge: Jane is four months pregnant and has a painful relationship with intimacy, body image and interpersonal dynamics. Childbirth and mothering is a source of fear and overwhelm. She longs to make decisions that resonate with her but feels confused about all the incoming information regarding pregnancy and childbirth.

Opportunity: Whether challenged by body changes, hormones, our culture of fear regarding childbirth or the process of becoming a mother, pregnancy is ripe with healing potential. During individual sessions, Staci draws on her Doula and Birthing Intuition experience to help a pregnant woman grow trust, connect with body wisdom, and discover personal truths. Guided visualization is excellent childbirth preparation.

Improved office systems and communication maximize expansion

Dr. Laura Sheehan owns a thriving chiropractic practice in San Francisco. During an initial individual consultation, Laura and Staci identified an opportunity to improve office systems and communication. Staci then met with staff to implement changes that developed infrastructure to fortify existing growth. Since completing this project, Laura has initiated on-going individual consulting with Staci to consider future expansion.

"My chiropractic practice had grown from just me to hiring two employees. Staci responded to my concerns regarding staff and systems with concrete suggestions for improvements. Staci's attention and care validated all my hard work."

~ Laura Sheehan, D.C.

Brochure expresses new vision to
help organization move forward

Rhythm and Motion Dance Program has been fostering physical and emotional well-being through the joy of dance in San Francisco since 1979. Consuelo Faust, Founder and Director of R&M, wanted to revise an informational brochure that would also express a new vision of Rhythm and Motion Dance Program. Consuelo and Staci worked side-by-side to craft language that mirrored the essence of R&M but also paved the way for a new foundation of growth. Since completing the brochure, Staci has been invited to continue a relationship as editor of Rhythm and Motion's e-newsletter.

"I was first impressed with Staci's skill as a writer and generosity of spirit. During our collaboration, I appreciated her astute listening abilities and serious follow-through. Days that include time with Staci are invigorating; filled with focus, creativity, and exploration."

~Consuelo Faust, Director of Rhythm and Motion Dance Program

Improved administrative systems supports
midwifery clinic expansion

Homestyle Midwifery provided in hospital on-call midwifery care out of St. Luke's Hospital in San Francisco. When Staci began as Homestyle Midwifery's Coordinator, there were few existing systems to offer administrative support. Staci introduced in-house organization to increase functionality and devised communication systems to track, educate and serve new and existing clients. The resulting data helped justify expansion of services. As Homestyle grew, Staci oversaw support staff, managed daily schedule changes, and coordinated multi-weekly group classes and events while handling all scheduling and informational inquiries for new and existing clients.

"In one moment, Staci welcomed individual clients with compassionate yet practical help. The next, she took an eagle-eyed approach to larger office issues that supported wholeness. Throughout, Staci's commitment to Homestyle was a tangible force of love."

~ Yeshi Neumann, Midwife and Creator of Homestyle Midwifery
